craft projects i actually finished this fall

Updated: May 6

This one is actually a DIY from the gold standard, A Beautiful Mess. It was a super fun craft that can be whipped up in half an hour and make you smile every time you get home to see it on your door. I actually even sent my mom the supplies so she could make one as well for her door. Anything to feel connected during this weird time!!

I used a super beginner-friendly pattern from my favorite indie craft store, Brooklyn Craft Company, to make these. I had been missing my green beanie that I'm convinced I lost in a Lyft in NYC. I would also get a little too warm in there and need to take off my hat or scarf to get comfortable in the winter. I was pretty sad to have lost this one because the color was perfect. I made this replacement (with a pom pom of course!) to fill the void. The orange one, which happily looks like a pumpkin pie with a dollop of whipped cream, was made for a friend. I would recommend this pattern--it felt very special and impressive but came together quicker than you'd think.

Seasonal pillows are my new favorite thing! So far I've made some "everyday" ones and these "omg it's fall we need orange EVERYWHERE" ones. The funny thing is that one of the "everyday" ones is already orange, but like, PLAID orange is a whole different thing, OKAY?
