15 minute craft: embroider a tired t-shirt

Updated: May 6

If you're like me, you probably don't keep your white t-shirts super spotless. If you're really like me, you might even have a hole or two from a crafting mishap. The solution? An easy DIY that brings some handmade character to your tee.

What you'll need:

2 colors of embroidery floss

an old tee

scissors

a short phrase to embroider (it was obvious that dog mom was my choice)

What you'll need to know:

running stitch

lazy daisy stitch

french knot

I'll be making short videos of each stitch soon, but in the meantime YouTube is your best bet if you're new to the craft. I'm trying to be okay with sharing more of my smaller crafts because sometimes it feels like I make nothing, when in reality I'm making a lot of smaller, simpler crafts. Hope this inspires a little, and stay tuned for more involved crafts!
